Review: I've been seeing Dr. Russ for several years. I went to him to get some relief from upper back and neck pain that was leading to migraines. I've been to numerous doctors and specialists for migraines, and chiropractic care is the only thing that works. I'm thrilled to say I've been migraine free for 3 years and still continue to see Dr. Dave monthly. My overall energy has also improved as a result and the amount of sleep I need each night decreased, almost immediately. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and practices what he preaches. He does a great job explaining the science behind what he does and makes frequent recommendations as to how I am continue to improve my health on my own. Highly recommended.

Review: I am a junior in college and I have had back issues for quite some time now. I sought after a chiropractor and Dr. Russ made the decision easy to go forward with it. He makes it affordable for a college student to receive the care they need. The office has a very welcoming and relaxing aspect to it and the staff is great. Dr. Russ explains everything before he does it, as well as works well with your needs. Its a great touch that the reminders for your appointments are text messages, it makes it easy when your super busy to keep track of everything. Over all I have had a positive experience with this chiropractor and I recommend it to anyone who is skeptical.

Ear Infection gone, Surgery Avoided!

Review: My name is Amy and I am a mom of a 2 year-old toddler. The beginning of this year began what quickly became a miserable back and forth routine to the pediatrician's office for an ear infection in my son's right ear that had set up shop with no signs of vacating. Upon seeing the pediatrician for the fourth time we were told that if his right ear was still infected and if it persisted we would need to see an ENT specialist to discuss if having tubes surgically put in his ears was an option. After being put on the third different antibiotic within a month and half's time... I was fed up as mom seeing my child suffer but even more concerned the havoc all these antibiotics were having on his system. Knowing what success I had with my own Chiropractic care, I consulted with Dr. Russ as to what, if any, chiropractic care could do for my son's recurrent ear infection. Dr. Russ was patient with my sick and squirmy little guy as we introduced him to having adjustments made. He was gentle and the adjustments were so non-invasive that I was even more amazed at the results. After only four adjustments in less than two weeks, the next visit to the pediatrician resulted in a 100% clear and non-infected right ear for my son. Overwhelmed with joy that my son was no longer in danger of having to have a surgical procedure to rid him of this recurrent ear infection... I can't believe that more parents whose children suffer with recurrent ear infections don't seek Chiropractic care first before deciding on surgery for a relief.

Review: When I first met Dr. Russ, I had significant back pain from a previous injury. Over the period of a year under his care, I went from recovering from back injury to improving numerous other health conditions and improving my nutrition. He has a tremendous focus on holistic care and is extremely knowledgeable in the field of medical care for chronic health conditions. I have seen many doctors in my life for health conditions, and in all my years Dr. Russ has done more in one year for my health than all other doctors combined. My previous doctors medicated my symptoms, while Dr. Russ has helped me eliminate the problems themselves.

Review: Dr. Russ makes it so I can keep running. I highly recommend Russ Chiropractic. He is not the type to tell an athlete to stop doing what they are doing. He makes it so we can keep going! I am nowhere near a typical runner, but I just completed my first marathon and finished my 6th half marathon in the fall. I credit Dr. Russ in helping me get through injury free!

Review: The reason I first came to see Dr. Russ was because the MRI was showing L2-3 disc degeneration with bone spurs. Same on L3-4 including endplate marrow edema. L3 nerve root showed bulging disc as well as a tear! L4-5 herniation with a tear! L5-S1 disc herniation. What a mess! These injuries ruined my athletic career/ coaching career. I had constant pain and sciatica. Since 2003 I was hospitalized on average 3-4x a year, paralyzed for at least 3 weeks each time. Before seeing Dr. Russ I tried everything but nothing worked. I arrived on 8/12/2011 partially crippled in massive pain. In the 8 short appointments I was able to resume sandrunning/ weightlifting with NO hospitalizations. It is now Nov, 19, 2012. I can run farther and faster on sand without pain. I can weigh lift without pain. I have my career back. This man is "THE" MIRACLE WORKER!

Review: Dr. Russ is AWESOME!!!! I called around just moving from Fl. and he actually got on the phone with me and talked with me and answered every question I asked and made me feel comfortable. What doctor spends time on the phone...that was my decision maker in choosing him. He is a walking book of knowledge and will take his time to thoroughly explain everything he does. He goes above and beyond. He is passionate about what he does. He is not just all about the chiropractic but the wellness side also. He has helped me greatly as I am a marathoner and need top notch care. He has also helped my son in treating his asthma via adjustments and he has not had any issues in the past year. Review: Dr. Russ is who I trust most for holistic care for my body! I've been to several chiropractors, dealing with everything from sports injury issues to repetitive stresses from posture and desk work. What impressed me most with Dr. Russ is his ability to understand the whole person and their goals moving forward. Most doctors would treat the symptom, adjust your back, get paid, and send you on your way. Dr. Russ on the other hand spent time talking with me about health and fitness goals, nutrition and diet, medicines and their dangers, posture, and of course alignment of the spine and neck and how that benefits your nervous system and protects you from disease. His knowledge is expansive and his hands are skilled and never harsh on your frame. If your chiropractor can't speak to these issues or doesn't care enough to then you are in the wrong place. Go see Dr. Russ in his new office on Oleander.

Review: Dr. Russ is very professional. The thing I liked most was that he explained everything in detail before he started the process of adjustments. Most people that I've seen in the past just start poking and prodding before I'm comfortable. I learned a lot about how my spinal cord affects other parts of my body. The specific reason I went in was because of a sinus infection. I was having a good deal of pain back behind my check bones and really throughout the rest of my body. I was so miserable. I didn't know that chiropractic work could help with this type of ailment but at the suggestion of a close friend I went for a consultation. After my consultation I got adjusted and withing 2 hours of leaving I felt 80% better!!!! What a relief. Furthermore, Dr. Russ did a nerve scan and some x-rays which revealed some arthritis in my C3 vertebrae. Without his attention to detail and willingness to spend the proper amount of time to get to the bottom of what was wrong I may have found out about that too late to do anything about it. Thanks to Dr. Dave this can be corrected before it begins to be a larger problem and my sinus infection has vanished! I would recommend this chiropractor to anyone!

Review: I knew I was in good hands with a Palmer graduate, but Dr. Russ exemplifies quality care! He spent time doing a thorough exam, talking with me about my problem and even getting to know me as a person. I went in unable to lift my arm above my head - a shoulder injury caused by a fall, and left there with full range of motion as well as much clearer thinking. I have seen chiropractors since I was a small child, and Dr. Russ is the most thorough I have been to yet. Thanks for helping me feel great!

Review: I had extreme pain in my hips, lower back and neck, resulting from some falls. This was preventing me from doing somethings that I enjoyed and limited my mobility. I had been to medical doctors and took pain meds and nothing was working. When I saw Dr. Russ I had immediate improvement of pain and now I am pain free! I have much more mobility as well and an increased sense of well being! Chiropractic fits well into my plan of increasing my health and wellness.

Review: I came here because Dr. Russ presented a great in-service at my work. I was impressed with his knowledge. Also he coaches on not only the chiropractic but on the whole body approach to wellness. Because my back and neck pain limited me he sounded like he could help. Because of the pain I was very fearful of doing any exercise. I never felt good and it affected work, play, and sleep. Before seeing Dr. Russ I saw orthopedic surgeons who suggested back surgery, over the counter and prescription painkillers but nothing helped. Physical therapy actually made matters worse. After just a few adjustments I started to feel better. Mentally of course I feel so much better. I wanted to and felt like exercise could be back in my life without pain and now it is. I did not realize how much mental energy is consumed when you are physically hurting. Since feeling better I automatically want to eat better and be the best I can be. I was not meant to be a couch potato!

Review: The reason I originally came to see Dr. Russ was because of shoulder pain. I was uncomfortable and in pain, limiting activities at work, home, and with my grandchild. Previously I had tried doctors, x-rays, tylenol, and heating pads but nothing worked. Since starting I have improved with each visit. After two and a half months I am able to move more freely. My pain is gone. I can enjoy work, recreation, and relationships more. Besides feeling better physically I have a more positive attitude because I feel well. Dr. Russ has helped me with my diabetes by giving me a wealth of great information.

Review: Before seeing Dr. Russ I had constant pain and tension across my shoulders/neck, occasional migraines, and tension/pain in my lower back. I decided to see a chiropractor after talking/listening to others who had similar symptoms. This office is clean and welcoming: the doctor is friendly and personable. Since seeing Dr. Russ I am resting better. I think I got in before the problem became disabling. He gave a great explanation of x-rays and showed how problem could worsen and how chiropractic could be preventative.

Review: I went to see Dr. Russ because of almost constant pain in my low back and was unsure if chiropractic could help me. I had previously tried physical therapy which gave only temporary relief. I decided to go to Dr. Russ after he had successfully treated my husband for a similar issue. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try anyway. The relief I experienced was almost immediate and sustained. Life without pain means everything is easier, more fun. Review: My symptoms when I first went in were burning in the right shoulder, mid back pain, and knee pain. I had been dealing with this for three years and the severity got worse and worse. I tried chiropractic because none of the other doctors knew what was wrong, but I was still doubtful that chiropractic could help me. Now it has alleviated most of the pain I experienced before. I can stand for long periods of time without shoulder and knee pain.
